Welcome in Geneva  

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

 It is a great honour to invite you in the world famous town of Geneva, Switzerland, for one of the most prestigious International Rhinology meeting in the scientific and medical communities. Located in the centre of Europe, access to Geneva is very convenient.

With 400.000 inhabitants, the city offers all the advantage of a smaller town city but has  the facilities and services of a large capital.

Geneva is the home town of many International organisations such as the WHO, The International Red Cross, the United  Nations and has a strong historical background of humanitarian concern and involvement. Therefore, a major topic of this meeting will be the development of Rhinology in emerging countries. 

The city offers many leisure activities, cultural entertainment and a relaxing stay during the congress. Post-congress tours should give you the opportunity to visit the beautiful country side nearby, the famous lake Geneva and the Swiss alps. Most European capitals are also nearby. 

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, I invite all scientists and physicians involved in research and cares of nasal and sinus diseases to join us in Geneva in 2010 and contribute to making the 23rd Congress of the European Rhinologic Society (ERS) and the 29th International Symposium of Infection and allergy of the Nose (ISIAN) an unforgettable event.
